This Pilates exercise is safe to do at home and gives a lovely stretch at the end of a busy day!
Lie on your side with your legs at 90 degrees. Start with your arms stretched out straight in front of you and palms touching. Engage your core muscles, then as you exhale slide your top arm away from you and open the arm up across your body. If your shoulders will allow you can touch the floor on the opposite side with your arm and shoulder. Inhale to return. Continue for about 4 mins and then repeat on other side.
